What is anodizing? An aluminum part, when
charged with direct current in an anodizing bath forms an
oxide layer on the surface of that part. This oxide
layer or more commonly called an oxide film is very hard.
It is much hard and durable than the original surface of the
aluminum thus offering the aluminum part extra protection.
This oxide film can be dyed with a metallic dye to achieve
any color and combination of color to create a beautiful

Our anodizing systems are sold 4 ways:
“C” system is a variant of “home use” anodize system listed
on our web site but it is upgraded for commercial use with all commercial
grade chemicals, most of the heaters, as well as commercial grade cathodes,
bussing, and rectifier. “C” systems are sold ONLY to commercial users.
Installs in 8-10 hours but quick install option available to reduce install
time by 50%.
· Hobby Kits for anodizing 2 gallon to 15 gallon system sold
on web site comes with eco-friendly chemicals which process parts 2.5-X
slower and does not come with rectifier, air driven chemical mixing kit, and
any of these other commercial upgrades. Installs in 7-8 hours.
Hybrid Kit is 50% commercial and 50% non commercial. It has
3 fully commercial tank for all of the critical steps with non commercial
tanks for the non critical steps. Hybrid also comes with commercial grade
heaters, rectifiers, cathodes, cooling coil, saddle, & bussing. The rinse
tanks, tanks for non critical chemical steps, one of the heaters, and the
chemical mix system is also non commercial. Everything else is commercial
grade. Installs in 9-11 hours but quick install option available to reduce
install time by 50%.
Fully commercial system is the best way to go for machine shops
but it is also the most expensive way to go. It is faster, easier to
learn, and more user friendly as commercial grade. It can come as a
standard multi tank system installs in 2 to 2.5 days while a table top
system installs in 10-12 hours. Turnkey option is available and reduces
install times by 60% to 65%.
